Obviously the British slang and humor aren’t for everyone. Sometimes it gets a bit petty and the drama is always not-so-serious stuff like getting detention for laughing too much in class, but that’s part of the draw. Georgia is a bit sassy but she’s quite funny and the author does an excellent job of writing a teenage girl. It’s written in diary style so you really feel like you’re experiencing what Georgia (the main character) is. I love this series and have since I was in middle school because it’s mostly just a teenage girl and her friends/family living every day life. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?įantastic movie, book and the audiobook really did it justice. Her tone and inflection perfectly imitated that of a very pissed off but hilarious cheeky teenager. No, but I thought she did a fantastic job.
